Brett Cooper Torches Ethan Klein as the ‘Internet’s King of Moral Outrage’

After Hila Klein’s Instagram post alleging an affair, the conservative host says the H3 Podcast scold “doesn’t have a leg to stand on.” Klein has not been shown to have done anything.

Ethan Klein has spent years clipping and condemning other creators. Now Brett Cooper is turning his own method on him.

On an episode of The Brett Cooper Show titled “Ethan Klein Is Getting a Taste of His Own Medicine,” the conservative host weighed in after Klein’s wife, Hila, posted an emotional Instagram message alleging that he had an affair, AceShowbiz reported. The couple have been married for 20 years, share three children and run a production company together. The affair is an allegation; Klein’s side of it was not reported.

“The internet’s king of moral outrage doesn’t have a leg to stand on once you pull back the curtain on his personal life,” Cooper said.

She described the persona Klein built on the H3 Podcast: “He does reaction content, he clips people’s content, and he makes insanely inflammatory and emotional comments in response to tragedies and viral stories.” That stance, she said, was one “he never had to walk back and never had to apologize for. It seems like now he probably should.”

Cooper also mocked the Kleins’ Halloween costumes, which she said cast Ethan as the Cat in the Hat with Hila and another woman as “Thing One” and “Thing Two.” She added, with a pointed “allegedly,” that the group had discussed Dr. Seuss’s own affair on the same episode. “If that was not intentional, it’s just batshit crazy,” she said.

She admitted she was not a regular viewer: “I never watched his podcast… I didn’t even know Ethan was married.”

For viewers on the right, Klein is a familiar villain: a progressive commentator who has spent years attacking conservatives and right-leaning creators from the moral high ground. Cooper’s point is simple — anyone who sets themselves up as the internet’s judge invites the same scrutiny. Whether the allegation holds up is for the Kleins to sort out, but the hypocrisy argument is already landing with Klein’s many critics.
