Myron Gaines Shuts Down Halloween Hecklers Mocking Sneako — Sneako: ‘W Myron’
Despite their feud over Islam, the Fresh & Fit host told a costumed crowd chanting against Sneako that “he’s still my friend.” Sneako returned the love.
Myron Gaines showed some loyalty on Halloween.
When a small group began loudly chanting “F*ck Sneako” near the Fresh & Fit co-host, Gaines stepped in, NDTV reported. One of the hecklers wore a costume that appeared to mock Sneako’s conversion to Islam.
“I know you don’t like Sneako, but Sneako’s a friend of mine, bro,” Gaines said. “He’s still my friend.”
He then pointed at the heckler’s outfit, saying the man was “dressing up like an Arab while wearing a cross for Halloween,” and called it “completely unnecessary” before telling those around him to “get him out of here.” The chants continued a few more times as the moment played out.
It was not what many fans expected. Earlier this year Gaines and Sneako clashed publicly over Islam and over how men should treat women, and their supporters have traded insults online since.
Sneako saw the clip and responded on his stream. “Hey, W Myron,” he said. “Still gotta assume the best of our brothers who disagree on some things, man.” He then asked his own audience to ease up: “I appreciate it, some of you guys, like, relax a little bit on him, man.” The clip, posted by the fan account Sneako Productions on Oct. 31, was summed up in its caption: “W Myron.”
The exchange is a rare truce in a scene that often feeds on infighting. Gaines has had a rough October — confronted on the streets of Miami and caught up in a street brawl in Austin that he says was self-defense. This time he was the one calming things down, and the man he defended said thanks.
For a manosphere that spends a lot of energy attacking itself, two men who disagree on religion closing ranks against hecklers is a better look than most of what goes viral.
