Fuentes Urges Groypers to Vote Democrat Today Nationwide
With polls open across the country, Nick Fuentes sent his followers a six-word Election Day order: “Get out and vote Democrat today.”
The veto is on.
At 1:06 p.m. Eastern on Election Day, with polls open from coast to coast, Nick Fuentes posted his marching orders on X: “Get out and vote Democrat today 🌊🗳️”
No caveats, no list of exceptions. Within about an hour the post had passed 700,000 impressions and 20,000 likes, according to X’s public metrics, with more than 1,800 replies and nearly 2,000 reposts.
It is the final step of a strategy Fuentes has been spelling out for weeks. On Oct. 26 he told his audience to “Stay home or vote Democrat,” writing that “Trump promised ‘no new wars,’ then started a war with Iran that we are not only losing but which also destroyed the economy.” Today’s message drops the “stay home” half. The instruction is simply to show up and vote against the Republican Party.
Fuentes has explained the logic himself. In an interview with Vanity Fair published Oct. 29, he said his break with Trump was ideological, not personal: “I’ve been very open about why I’m not supporting Trump, and that’s because he started a war with Iran.” He estimated that a disciplined bloc could swing about 3 percent of the general-election vote. “We can exercise the veto, and I think that’s the source of our power,” he said. We covered that interview here.
The one race he had singled out before today was Ohio, where he backed Democrat Amy Acton for governor over Republican Vivek Ramaswamy. Today’s post takes that same logic nationwide.
The timing matters. Forecasters had already given Democrats a strong chance of taking the House (Nate Silver put it at 95%), and Speaker Mike Johnson dismissed the polls as a “psyop.” For Fuentes’s followers the point has never been to love the Democrats. The point is to show the GOP that a Republican Party that breaks its promises on war and immigration pays for it at the ballot box.
Whether the groyper vote moves any race will only be known once the results are in. You can follow the returns live in our America First Votes tracker.
